/ etc ---> Contains the configuration file system in linux
/ home -> For Space / space for the user that is in linux
The linux directory
/ lib ---> Contains the library files needed linux system/ mnt ---> directory is provided for the purpose of mounting
/ opt ---> Directory with optional
/ root -> directory super-user: root
/ sbin -> Accommodating files related to system administration
/ tmp ---> For Accommodating a temporary file
/ usr ---> the Directory relating to user needs the system itself
/ var/log--> directory that holds the system log file
